Booking and Refund Policy


All reservations with Paul Rossi require a deposit and the completion of an email registration form to secure your place on this workshop. Deposits for the tour are non-refundable unless the workshop is cancelled. Once a deposit has been made your place on the workshop will be confirmed. At this point, a contract between the applicant and Paul Rossi comes into existence.


A non-refundable deposit is required for reservation of space and your payment balance must be received by Paul Rossi on or before May 1, 2021 or 2022. If I do not receive the balance on or before this date, I will try to fill your spot off the waiting list. If your spot is filled, you will lose your deposit only.

I prefer to accept payment by check.

Refund of workshop payment (not including deposit), less $100 administration fee, will be made if cancellation is received up to 7 days before workshop begins. Thereafter, all payments are not refundable.

At my discretion I may apply a deposit credit to be used within 1 year of workshop date. Please note that price increase adjustments may apply.

This policy only applies to payments made to Paul Rossi. Airline tickets or other travel arrangements that you have and purchased separately often carry penalties for cancellation or change, or may be non-refundable. Additionally, if you take out trip insurance the cost of the insurance is not refundable so it is best to purchase the policy just prior to making full payment for the tour or at the time you purchase airline tickets, depending upon the airlines restrictions.

There shall be NO REFUND for weather delay or cancellation because of weather before arrival or during the scheduled workshop. Paul Rossi is not responsible for any additional costs that may be incurred by weather delays or cancellations due to weather, flight delays, or otherwise.

To protect yourself against unforeseen scenarios that may arise for you insurance is highly recommended.

If you have any questions, or do not understand this policy as it is written here, please ask me to explain in detail further. Otherwise, I assume that you understand fully the protocol written in this policy.

Should a major change of plans be forced upon us while the tour is in progress or just before the tour (for example due to strikes, weather delay or breakdown) any additional costs are the responsibility of the participants. Once again I recommend travel insurance.

These workshops do not normally entail strenuous activity. But participants must be able to complete moderate walks/hikes with their required photo gear sometimes on uneven or slippery surfaces. If you have any health problems or physical limitations, you are required to advise Paul Rossi prior to booking. Depending upon the day of the workshop I can usually arrange for a half or a full day’s rest for those who wish to opt out of a photo shoot at any time. I will do my best to make this workshop work for you.

I take the greatest care to ensure that the information presented on my website and the materials I distribute is accurate. However, mistakes can occur. Unless the error or omission has a major effect on the workshop to the extent that the photographic opportunities are drastically altered no claim for compensation can be entertained.


I (Paul Rossi) will take all reasonable steps to ensure that all services provided are of an acceptable standard. I cannot, however, accept liability for physical injury, loss, damage or expense resulting from any event whatsoever beyond my control. Insurance is highly recommended.

By agreeing to participate in this workshop, each tour participant agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Paul Rossi.

Paul Rossi accepts no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air or other services, sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine, or other causes. The tour participant shall bear all such losses and expenses.

Participants should be in good health before undertaking this tour.

Participants should prepare for the workshop by reading the information send by the confirmation email. Each participant is responsible for bringing appropriate clothing and equipment as recommended by Paul Rossi.

The receipt of your workshop deposit shall be deemed to be consent to the above conditions.
